Meet our Instructor!
Belle Fourche Country Club is proud to announce that Nellie Krueger will again be leading our Junior Golf Program this summer. For those who don’t already know her, Nellie is a fierce and well-accomplished golfer. She has been playing competitive golf since the age of 8 and played high school golf in Spearfish. Nellie continued her golfing career at Rocky Mountain College. In 2016 her team won conferences earned a place at Nationals. She completed her collegiate golf career at Black Hills State University.
Junior Camp
The Camp will meet on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s this year! It is for the beginning golfer ages 5-14 years old. This is for the kids that need to learn the basics of the game and the fundamentals of the game. For instance, golf etiquette, full swing fundamentals, short game fundamentals and learning how to act on a golf course.
Schedule
The Camp will meet for 1 Hour per session for 6 weeks totaling 6 classes. The cost is $100 and the kids will focus on a different fundamental skill each week. If your child has little to no golf experience, this program is for them.
Dates: June 2nd, June 9th, June 6th, July 7th, July 14th & July 21st
Session Times for Each Age Group:
- 5-7 years of age: 9:30 am – 10:30 am
- 8-10 years of age: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
- 11-14 years of age: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Schedule breakdown:
- June 2nd: Basics to golf, putting
- June 9th: Putting refresher, putting course on the practice green.
- June 16th: Gripping the club & chipping
- July 7th: Chipping/half swing, Range
- July 14th: Half swing/Full swing, Range
- July 21st: Tournament/Fun Day
